OLD FORT BIKE SHOP

Though I live 2 hours away, Old Fort Bike Shop is my local shop. Chad is always willing to fit me in quickly for the various work I need done on / for my bike. From fixing a frustrating drive train and making it work perfectly to one of the best wheel builds I have ever had. This IS the shop and Chad is the mechanic who has the knowledge, skillset and personality to make it a great experience.

I wanted to leave a great review as this man deserves the credit. He did an exceptional job for me, and it was no simple task what I had requested. It turned out better than expected. We had a small issue due to miscommunication, and he went above and beyond to make me satisfied. I will say this, he has my business going forward 100%, and I recommend if you have the opportunity to let him work on your machine, you should. I'm very pleased Chad. My bike is 100% perfect. On a side note, we all know that new cables stretch, and need attention after about a month of riding. He said "Bring it back by when it starts to miss a little, and I will re-tune it from the stretch for free." I can't speak for everyone in the world, but when I am this happy after giving someone my hard earned money from a job well done. It sure fells like money well spent to me....

We had a excellent experience at the Old Fort Bike Shop! My dad and I, coming from Charlotte NC, were going to ride up to Mt Mitchell from Marion but couldn’t once my dads shifting gave out. We quickly found the bike shop and Chad was so kind to give us a hour and a half of his time in the morning so that we would be able to ride that day. Chad was very professional, friendly, and great to talk to as he fixed our bike. I very much recommend the Old Fort Bike Shop!
